District Lens

Cities are not uniform. The District Lens lets a citizen drill from city-level Pulse into district-level metrics — where the income inequality sits, how transport reaches each district, where the green space is.

What it shows #

• District boundary on a Leaflet map.
• Per-district Pulse sub-score (where data permits).
• Median household income, vs city median.
• Public transport coverage (% within 400m of a stop).
• Green-space ratio (m² per resident).
• School quality index.

When data is missing #

Some cities don't publish district-level data. Rather than fabricate, we present an honest "no district data — request open release" call-to-action that links to the city's open-data portal.
